A Few Words First
For more than a decade, Stacy and I have spent a lot of our time exploring the Pacific Northwest. We’ve traveled throughout most of Washington, along a good portion of the Oregon coast, and even a little into Idaho. Along the way, we’ve hiked, camped, and stopped to explore whatever caught our attention.
Over all those years, we’ve collected a massive number of photographs. I plan to share many more of them here in the future, but after a quick look through the collection, these thirteen stood out as some of my favorites. They aren’t connected by a particular trip, place, or theme. They’re simply a first selection from more than ten years of exploring together.
And so, here are the first 13, collected along the way…
A Few Final Thoughts
These 13 photographs cover a lot of different places, but what stands out to me most are the memories attached to them. Some came from difficult hikes, some from planned trips, some from unexpected detours, and others from completely ordinary moments that happened to turn into something worth remembering. Looking back at them now, I remember the weather, the drives, the trails, the views, and all the little details that surrounded each photo.
We have thousands more photographs from more than a decade of exploring together, and eventually I hope to share many more of them here. For now, these are simply the first 13. A small collection of places we visited, things we experienced, and moments that existed only once before becoming photographs we could return to later.
